POST SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Objective:
To provide scholarships to post-secondary students studying in disciplines related to business
Purpose:
- To promote and encourage students in their pursuit of careers in business;
- To encourage these students to work for Cree businesses and regional companies / entities;
- To encourage academic excellence
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement;
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time students in a recognized / accredited post-secondary business program;
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate academic excellence in a given year;
- Applicants must be continuing their program the following year
Selections:
The Creeco Board of Directors will review all applications and make a final selection based on criteria which will include personal and academic achievement.
Applications:
Deadline – 30th of September of every year along with the following documents:
- A copy of your most recent transcripts
- Proof of that you will be returning to your program the upcoming academic year (registration / acceptance) or a letter of recommendation from any one of the following: Professor, Dean of program or Coordinator of student services.
