It had two aircraft \u2013 one owned and one leased. It operated out of a prefabricated house in Val-d\u2019Or and the only reliable beacon was in Waskaganish. Existing competition (Propair) had aircraft that could carry twice as much as Air Creebec.[\/mvc_timeline_son][mvc_timeline_son maintitle=”Valpiro is bought by CREECO” titlealign=”center” date=”1988″ caption_url=””]The company started their operations in August 1971 in Val-d\u2019Or. The services provided were baggage handling and fuel that serviced all the airlines that required it. After several years of operations, the company expanded into cargo handling due to the needs of the Cree communities and the La Grande project.<\/p>\n

In August 1988, Creeco bought the company. In Val d\u2019Or and La Grande, the major contract is the food and cargo expedition with the Inuit communities and also different services for mining companies in the north. Throughout the years, the company has built a very good reputation in the aviation field.<\/p>\n

The hotel offers 82 rooms & suites, two executive conference rooms, a private business centre, a complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, vast parking, a fitness centre and a public laundromat.<\/p>\n
